The best conclusion from James was: "Maybe one day everyone will be using something like Xion Protective Gear on the hill and in the park. This isn't snowboard specific body armor but we haven't found something yet that works as well as Xion does for our industry."

INTRODUCTION
Although Xion initially designed body protection for stunt applications, nowadays, the Xion protective gear products serves various target groups.
Everyone, confronted with the risk of getting injured, either professional or leisure wise, will highly benefit from our protective product line.
Examples of applications are: stunts, extreme sports, martial arts, free running / parcour, team sports, rock climbers, cyclists, stage and screen combatants, actors and many more.
Basically all situations where the "rigid" or "bony" parts of the body can be confronted with impact.
Because these parts of the body always stick out and do not have a "soft" barrier like muscles or fat to reduce the impact, they will suffer the most damage and should be protected.
Impact protection has traditionally been provided with bulky, rigid protection.
This is not ideal as it forces a compromise between the amount of protection you can accept and the freedom of movement you can enjoy.
Xion was looking for a more flexible and less bulky solution thus we developed a protective clothing line which is specifically designed to wear underneath your clothes.

I did use my jacket in NY this past weekend. Unbelievable!!!!!!!! I've never felt so at ease and comfortable landing on my back. Came off a motorcycle at abour 30 MPH on my back and slid along a cobble stone street and hit the curb. It is by far the best piece of equipment I own now. And you can quote me on that!

So I bought a few to test out and show fellow stuntmen on set. I did pretty much everything that was shown on the demo and they worked great. On set I had three of the biggest guys play with them. They wrapped them around their hand and started punching a steal trash dumpster, and they went HARD!!! There's your next demo shot for you. Well needless to say they were impressed.
